Easter Theme Math activities

Math can be fun during any season. A few plastic eggs and a bunny egg holder, a sharpie marker and we have a fun addition game to reinforce addition facts. The children did a good job completing this activity.

 We did the same thing with a chick egg holder and subtraction. The children caught onto the concept quickly.

We are at the point in the year where we have learned many skills in math. So at math centers now we have numbers, addition, subtraction, patterns, money, time and measurement. Today I introduced some bunny and egg addition and subtraction activities. Come back tomorrow to check out the measurement acivities!
